What’s the secret to relationship?

I’m always asked, “What’s your routine?”, “How do I get where you are?”, or “What’s a day in your life look like?” My answer is, I’ve never thought about it…I have NO “routine”, I have no idea “where I am”, and every day looks pretty different lol. I just wake up to live in his presence and follow Him the best I can, that’s all any of us can do. I certainly wasn’t raised in church, but I was definitely “Holy Spirit Home Schooled”! I was raised in crazy conflict and had a pretty Hellish life of pain, persecution, and too many “unfair circumstances” to begin to list! In retrospect, looking back at all God’s brought me through, I see what an INCREDIBLE BLESSING my life has been!!! James 1:2-5 about sums up my life, although it’s taken many years to have the “true revelation” of what those verses actually mean. We always learn more in the valleys than on the mountain tops and I’ve had a lifetime in the valley! Who knew what a blessing all that suffering would become? It draws you nearer to God because he’s all you got! Your Faith can grow exponentially in these times of great hardship, if you’re really trusting God to get you through. These “hardships” can be opportunities when you see them correctly, and not as an “Angry God” discipling you for something you’ve done in your past. We’re forgiven of past, present, and future sin, Jesus died for this! He died for you! Never forget that! When endured correctly, or sometimes incorrectly, true perspective and wisdom can be formed in these times on the struggle. The suffering we experience, sometimes necessary for survival, can bring us a new clear understanding which cannot be achieved or “completely” understood to the point of “complete” revelation unless you’ve walked it alone with God…That’s my “formula”, “secret”, and “shortcut” to relationship, always seek with a pure heart and endure all the suffering you can with the Holy Spirit by your side and I promise you that your life will be changed! So count it all Joy! 👊😉👍
