“For we know in part, and we prophesy in part [for our knowledge is fragmentary and incomplete].”1 Corinthians 13:9
We must always remember that “We hear in part, and not in full”, no matter WHO WE ARE!!! NOBODY gets it right every time, and if they do think they do, RUN! Sometimes someone will prophecy something to you that will really “ruffle your feathers”, now that’s always completely ok, an edifying word can be uncomfortable sometimes but what’s important is it’s edification. We should ALWAYS take what we hear to God first, no matter who’s speaking the word, to see if we should or shouldn’t RECEIVE IT. After all He should always have the final say in your life. If you’re “ruffled” and God says you need to listen and go make some changes, then do what God tells you to do and go make some changes by all means! Now if you’re “ruffled” and God tells you NOT to receive the word, then again by all means do what God tells you to do and shake the dust off your feet and keep it moving. The most important thing is to NEVER be personally offended on either account, because the Holy Spirit should always have the final say in your life. Again NOBODY gets it right all the time! So if God tells you NOT to receive their word we should NEVER be personally offended with the person who’s speaking the word, because we all just “hear in part”. Be sure to show them the same Grace to be wrong, as the Grace you do when they’re right. Do this ALWAYS without any personal offense due to your knowledge of 1 Cor 13:9. So when they’re right and you need to make the necessary changes to bless your life, even though you’re uncomfortable with what’s been said, always do it based on this knowledge you’ve received from the Holy Spirit and you’ll never be offended! God Bless🔥🙏❤️🔥
