Disclaimer: This is addressed to the people who were raised in church or attended church for long periods of time with no feeling of personal relationship with God. If you’re someone who’s seeking God for the sole purpose of personal gain through the efforts you think will be “pleasing to God”, you need to check your “heart position” and recalibrate your efforts! When the time you spend seeking God no longer feels like a requirement you must fulfill to earn something, or a prerequisite to a position you’re trying to obtain, you’re starting to get somewhere. Seeking God should always come purely from a “heart position” and not a “head position”, never by any effort you’re making for selfish-personal gain. Your seeking must come from a pure place of seeking his presence to have the relationship we were originally designed to have with the loving father that God is! if this is your purpose in seeking God your life will be undoubtedly changed! Matthew 6:33 The changes you desire in your own life you’ll receive as a byproduct of your relationship with the Father, not because of any superficial efforts on your part to please God so that you can get something in return. When you’ve been seeking so long you feel like you need this relationship as much as eating, sleeping, and breathing you know you’re starting to get somewhere. You begin to really appreciate the dramatic change in your life that comes over a period of time in relationship with God, to which you become so grateful for due to the new found abundance of peace, joy, and happiness it can bring to your life as a byproduct. You begin to know that this relationship is something you will never divert from because it’s something you freely desire and can’t live without! This transforms into your new daily life that God originally intended that you know will never change, a permanent part of you and your life. That’s when you know you’re on the right path for a lifelong journey close to God! This begins from a learning standpoint, developing into a lifestyle, and eventually transforming into daily living for Him. And what once felt like a task is now something you strongly desire because of its impact and enlightenment (fruit) in your life and on the life of others impacted through you. Sometimes you might wonder how you lived without this? Which is the point, this relationship was God‘s plan from the garden to love and help guide you through this life. His plan was to show you a better way of life through relationship with Him, not to give you tasks to perform to please Him so that he can love you, God is love! This relationship is God‘s blessing to you through the Holy Spirit, God’s gift to you, nothing needed to be earned by works. When you pursue long enough you’ll start to completely understand these things from the revelation of your own experience. God‘s not trying to put you to work, he’s trying to take the burden off you by showing you how he works!(Something I need to keep in mind myself) Thank you Lord for every mountain and valley in my life! That without each or either my life would never be complete! I hope this blesses all with ears to hear!☝️😉
God Bless 🙏🙏🙏
