Rest/Trust/Manipulation

Without trust in God, it’s hard to rest in Christ to take the burden off your own shoulders.(Matthew 11:28-30) We continually, physically and mentally, try to manipulate all areas of our lives in futility. Often due to our “learned survival skills”, creating what we think is “reliable” self reliance, this is not an option for believers! We should be thankful, because we have the greatest gift in the Holy Spirit leading us to eternal victory! We should remember that we can walk by “Faith not by Sight”, so self reliance should never be thought as the only option. True reliance on God will bring us all the rest we need when we just learn to trust completely in Him! Trust will be Key/Essential to moving forward in your walk, and rest can only be fully achieved through trust in Him. Sooner or later, the exhaustion of our self effort has to give way to resting in Christ, hopefully sooner than later…God Bless! 🙏🙏🙏
