Part 2 For the servant/steward of God… “Guarding Your Heart”

Another reason to keep some revelations to yourself, especially when they’re in their delicate state of seed form upon first reception, is to give the seed some time to take root and grow. Give the truth and wisdom of what you’ve heard time to be rooted in you, meditate on it, so there’s less chance of loss due to someone or something trying to uproot what you’ve heard. (See Luke 8:5-15) When seeking validation, or even advice/counsel for what you “hear” can sometimes lead to disappointment, obviously for numerous reasons. Although sometimes it’s just plain and simple misunderstanding, even though their intentions may be pure it doesn’t always mean they’re going to get out of it what you did, so never take what is said personally! This is why your personal relationship with God is so important. A wise woman once told me “people aren’t perfect, people are people” and that’s ok! (Thank You Lisa Koons) Unfortunately people sometimes only validate what they “hear”themselves, or personally experience while seeing with their own eyes. This is specifically true when sharing supernatural events you’ve experienced, definitely something to keep in mind, but these events will always be your treasures you have between you and God and nothing can ever take that away! So again NEVER take the opinions of others personally, this is why it’s so important to guard your heart. Only you and God truly know the personal revelation you receive, the supernatural miracles you’ve witnessed, or the good you do when no one’s looking. You can’t hold people responsible for things they know nothing about, besides it would be impossible for them to ever know the whole truth about your entire life, especially when you keep the best things you do between you and God anyway! (See Matt 6) As long as your focus is on the only opinion that matters, God’s opinion, all will always be well and you’ll never be offended. By looking for validation your giving all your “power” away. Your “power” is birthed through the hearing of God in relationship, in the “Secret Place” that exists only between you and God. This is what creates the “Godfidence” in your spirit, and it’s the source of your power! If you’re looking for validation it should only be sought through God, not man. After all, we’ll eventually only answer to God, not man! So what do we care what man thinks?!?!? (See 1Cor 2:11-16) This is why becoming steadfast is the goal, that’s what makes us perfect and complete, being unable to be moved by anything that’s not of God. (See James 1:2-4) Besides the only thing that should ever move you is God!!! So relax, guard your heart, and walk by Faith and not by Sight and all will always be well….
